In Europe (I’m German) we more and more get the impression, that -except for some actors- most Americans for a long time were quite happy with all this stuff happening the last years (what changed my view on Americans *totaly*).
Comments like this by Americans give hope. Meeting Americans outside of their country, gave hope, too, in most cases. But these were the Americans beeing interested in things happening beyond their frontiers, I was always asking myself, if they were -hmm- regular Americans.
